This is a handsome, low-growing plant with aromatic leaves used to flavor meats, poultry, stews, sauces, soups and dressings. Harvest mid-June through mid-July. Leaves are used fresh or dried. Thyme is excellent in patio containers and is virtually free of pests and disease.
